Course description:
The Heartsaver CPR/AED course is designed to teach the lay rescuer how to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack
or stroke and how to effectively perform CPR on a patient who is in full cardiac arrest and how to effectively utilize
the AED. You will also learn how to recognize and treat an adult, child or infant that is choking.
Who should take this course: Everybody who is not a healthcare professional should take this
course (Healthcare professionals should take the BLS for Healthcare Providers course). Examples include teachers, daycare
providers, personal trainers, retail or grocery clerks, airline personnel, security guards, industrial personnel, lifeguards...
